Went Hiking On Halloween

Shenandoah’s Drive By Fall Foliage

It took a 4.5 hour travel and a 1.5 day venture through the 105 mile Skyline Drive route to capture these images.

I started at mile post 35 and ended at mile post 105 before I was satisfied.  Along the way I learned a lot about being at the right place at the right time.  If you want fall foliage along the drive, then you should get there a week before I did.  If however, you want to capture the valley at peak fall foliage, start your venture in the North and slowly move the 105 mile drive slowly over the next 7 days.
