Photography has always interested me as the medium in which to freely
express the emotions in my mind. I was interested in photography at an
early age when I got my first camera, a Polaroid Land Camera. Though mostly a self-taught photographer, I was always a student of photography. I practiced at the Visual Arts Center in
Portsmouth, VA. I have experience developing negatives and print making in
self-made darkroom. With a background in both film and digital, my work is
sometimes a culmination of both; Philadelphia City Hall is a good example
of that. The photographs that I love to take are a reflection of my soul. I
try to capture a moment in time that is fleeting, overlooked or possibly
unrevealed to the naked eye. I look for beauty in even the most trivial
scenes while attempting to transmit that via photography.
